Regardless, there is something about warm chicken noodle soup that seems to make you feel better when you’re under the weather; but don’t limit this quick soup to only when you or your kids are sick, as it’s great anytime.

Add more vegetables for extra nutrients if desired.

Ingredients:

2 tsp. olive oil

1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning

1 c. cooked, cubed chicken

5 c. water

1/2 white onion, chopped

3 chicken bouillon cubes

3 carrots, scrubbed and sliced

1 c. cooked spaghetti pasta, chilled

2 celery stalks, chopped

Sea salt and pepper

Preparation;

# 1 In a medium pot, combine oil, chicken, onion, carrots, and celery.

Cook for 2 minutes on medium-high heat.

Add the poultry seasoning.

# 2 Add the water and bouillon cubes; stir until dissolved.

Cook uncovered for 15 minutes over medium heat.

# 3 Chop the spaghetti into 2-inch (5-cm.) pieces.

Add to soup and stir for 3 minutes.

Add sea salt and pepper to taste.

Serve.
