Alzheimers
Are Doctor's Wrong?
Alzheimers
Could Doctor's actually be wrong?
How many times have you forgotten where you put your glasses, or your car keys and wondered if you’re getting Alzheimer's.
There's barely any other condition that raises more dread in folks than losing their mental faculties.
Not cancer.
Not heart disease.
Not even blindness.
The very thought of not being able to recognize our loved ones, or forgetting what we said just moments ago, scares the heck out of most people.
And I say, with good reason.
Alzheimer's, Doctors say we’re at the mercy of this disease.
We’re helpless.
But you know what?
That’s a load of baloney.
Hopefully they’ll correct this Alzheimer's misconception soon.
Doctors may not have an effective treatment or cure yet, but there’s plenty you can do to ward off this disease.
Vitamins C and E can be very effective in reducing your risk.
A large study done just this year found that taking a combination of vitamin C and E supplements reduced the
incidence of Alzheimer’s disease by over 60%.
This is terrific news for Alzheimer's sufferers!
While this new study points to free radical molecules as the cause of Alzheimers, the real culprit is a process called glycation, as previous research has already indicated.
Glycation is caused by the large amounts of sugar in today's "modern" diet.
In our brain, excess sugar combines with amino acids to produce a kind of crusty sediment.
It's virtually the same process that causes bread to get a crust when baking.
Both are irreversible, which is why Alzheimers is so difficult to treat.
Why is this important?
Because, the research clearly shows the disease is largely diet-related.
And that means you have far more power in protecting yourself from Alzeimer's if you know how.
Doctors continue to stubbornly state that taking vitamins is “silly” and a waste of time.
It will take many, many years (and dozens of other studies like this one) before they change.
Listen, there’s plenty you’re not hearing about Alzheimers, memory loss and how to prevent both.
Alpha-lipoic acid.
New research says ALA is another nutrient that protects the brain and improves memory.
It’s also one of the most powerful antioxidants of them all, so you should be taking it anyways.
When Alzheimer’s patients were given ALA, their condition stabilized.
They didn’t get better, but they stopped getting worse.
And there's not one drug therapy currently being used that can do even this much.
Why is this disease so rare in India?
Another big discovery is curcumin (also known as turmeric), an ingredient in curry powder.
Researchers at the University of California confirm its uncanny ability to protect the brain from Alzheimers.
(This may explain why Alzheimer’s is so rare in India.)
Not a fan of curry?
No worries.
Curcumin is now available in capsules.
The aluminum link.
It’s final, stay away from aluminum!
Strong research links it to Alzheimer’s.
Avoid aluminum cookware.
You've probably been hearing that for some time.
But you also need to avoid antacids, and frankly, any food or drink that comes in an aluminum can.
Were you aware that most antiperspirants contain aluminum, too.
If you’re using one that does, at least make sure you’re using a roll-on or stick—not aerosol!
Inhaled aluminum particles may be the most dangerous of all because they travel directly to the brain.
