Fat Fighting Recipes

From Around the World

*****************************************************************

*****************************************************************

It really doesn't matter which recipes you and I order at what restaurant, because what the restaurant seems to hear is,

"Make it extra heavy on the carbs and fat."

Let's face it, the reality is that restaurateurs are really only concerned with their bottom line, certainly not our bottom, hips, tummy, etc!

Whether it's Italian or Mexican, Chinese or Greek, loading plates high with inexpensive pasta, rice, and bread, along with loads of butter, is thought to be smart restaurant business.

It's thought that you'll feel you're getting your money's worth, without eating into the company profits.

The loser in this relationship?

Our hips, our butts and our disappearing six-packs (abs).

Marilyn and I would like to offer you some of our low fat and fat free alternatives.

Very tasty, yet low fat and fat free meals from around the world that you can make easily at home.

The trick isn't tiny, French type portions, but a re-distribution of nutrients.

What we've done is taken away the empty calories.

Scaled back unnecessary starches and fats, while actually infusing each meal with more tummy filling fibre and metabolism boosting protein.

What you have is a menu with variety from around the world that's low fat or fat free, yet definately far from boring.

*** HOW TO USE THE FOLOWING LOW FAT & NO FAT RECIPES***

Each of our following recipes is one serving.

So, if you're cooking for your family, having company or want some awesome low fat and no fat leftovers, just multiply the ingredients by the number of desired servings.

And...to make cleaning up a little easier, preheat your pots or pans and lightly coat them with a 50/50 mixture of regular Canola oil and olive oil before cooking.

We love to use our oil sprayer, that way we don't over do it on the oil.

No need to use the expensive E.V.O.O. (Extra Virgin Olive Oil).

Marilyn and I also want to mention that veggies and fruits are not all we eat 24/7.

We of course appreciate the benefits of natures fruits, vegetables and low fat super foods, etc.

But we do eat seafood (we love seafood), chicken, pork, turkey and of course beef.

I mean who doesn't love a great BBQ?

As with most everything though, it's all about moderation and lean, savory cuts!

So, speaking of BBQ's, if you enjoy a good "Barby" as much as we and our friends do, check out the links below.
