Libido a little LowNatures Solution
Libido ~ Natures Health Foods

Concern: Low Libido
Remedy: Rhodiola
Why it works:
Rhodiola has primarily been used in Scandinavia and Russia as a general vitality-boosting tonic.
In Siberia, it is still common for a bride and groom to carry a bouquet of rhodiola to help insure a long and fruitful union.
Doctors at Columbia University have conducted studies that show rhodiola boosts sex drive, although they haven't isolated exactly why.
According to Dr. Richard P. Brown, MD, who worked on the Columbia study, "It has no side effects that we've noticed, only side benefits."
Other effects of the herb include increased energy and decreased stress and if that's not a recipe for a better sex drive, we don't know what is!
How to use it:
The correct dosage to fight a flagging sex drive hasn't been studied.
Visit a reputable health food store and speak to a knowledgeable source there about recommended dosage.
A general guideline is between 100 and 200 milligrams per day.
What to watch out for:
The active component, rosavin, is only found in Rhodiola rosea.
Look for this term on the supplement you buy.
NOTE *** Avoid Rhodiola sacra or other rhodiola species, as they don't contain rosavin.
